The presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, ahead of the 2027 polls, Peter Obi, has promised that his presidency will unite Nigeria as a country to achieve robust human capital development.

Speaking on the Mic On Podcast, Dare dism¡ssed claims that Obi remains a political n¡ghtmare, insisting that while he may have been seen as a thr£at in the past, the Tinubu administration now stands on what he described as a “solid ground of performance.” According to him, President Tinubu has no reason to resign, stressing that Nigeria operates a constitutional democracy where leaders are chosen through elections every four years. Dare also argued that the government has every right to respond to Obi’s cr¡t¡cisms, just as Obi has the right to express his opinions.
